Internal Parcel Tracking

Internal parcel trackingInternal parcel tracking is the missing layer between receiving a package and proving that it reached the correct person. In many organisations, parcels are signed for centrally but the internal handoff remains informal. That creates disputes, delays and avoidable time spent locating items.

A better model uses scanning, recipient notifications and timestamped proof of collection or delivery. That gives the mailroom a defensible chain of custody from loading bay to final recipient.

Internal parcel tracking is especially important where items are high value, time-sensitive or regulated. Universities, hospitals, professional services firms and shared offices often need stronger internal accountability than standard courier tracking provides.

For a current software example, see Traizr parcel management and compare it with your current manual parcel room process.
